Great start for our new partner in China!
From 4 Dec - 6 Dec 2024 our new partner Fukin Technologies Services (Beijing) participated in the "Conference of High Speed Stamping and Deep Drawing 2024" organised by the Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry in China. More than 150 people from more than 100 companies all over China attended the conference.
Dong Zhuo, Fukin's Sales Director, gave a keynote speech on "Application Case Sharing of Stampack Xpress in High-Speed Stamping and Deep Drawing". Attendees showed great interest in the software and came to the booth to consult with the engineers.

From 25 to 27 June 2024, the 7th trade show for stamping technology took place at the Congress Centrum in Pforzheim, Germany.

Stampack Xpress is a sheet metal forming simulation that contains both shell and solid elements in one software environment. The software covers the full range from fast evaluations to maximal quality of results both in forming and in springback simulation. Stampack and Tata Steel joined forces with the maximum focus on customer centricity in the automotive industry to integrate the state-of-the-art material models from Tata Steel Aurora Online service into Stampack Xpress.
Tata Steel developed the Vegter 2017 yield locus and Abspoel & Scholting Forming Limit Curve (FLC) which allows tool designers to create highly accurate simulation for metal forming only requiring 3-directional tensile data (longitudinal, diagonal and transverse to rolling direction). The models can be used to predict behaviour at different material thicknesses reducing the number of tests significantly.
Luca Hornung, head of marketing, commented “We chose to work with Tata Steel because their Aurora Online database is best in class; with experimental hardening curves, Vegter yield locus and FLCs for plenty of thicknesses for each steel grade.”
